Cricket Match Against Creeting St Mary
on Thursday 11th May 2017

The game was a disappointing loss because we unfortunately lost 241-253.  Both teams played well but the other team played a bit better than us.  The other team had a player who played for Suffolk so we had a bit of a disadvantage. Everyone tried their best but they didn't succeed in winning but will done to Elliot, Kenzie, Freddie, Tom, Harry B, Katie, Sophie and Rupin.  Congratulations to Creeting on the win, good luck in the next round.

U11 Local Area Hockey Winners

On Wed 16th March a team of hockey players representing Bosmere School  went to Stowmarket High School to compete in the semi-finals, after coming 3rd in the previous hockey tournament.  We started playing Elmswell School, we won putting us in a good position.  Secondly we were against a (skilful) Norton School team, we played well getting a deserved 2-2 draw.  Thirdly we were against the winners of the preceding event... Finborough team1, it turned out to be the closest match we played in both tournaments, with one goal and a late goal for us, we won 1-0.  Last of all we played a challenging Finborough team2, all of the Bosmere team rose to the occasion so we won 2-1.  After a great perofrmance from all of us we lined up to hear the results, after a tense few seconds we  we heard what we wanted to hear... we won the tournament with 7 points, only 1 point over the team that came second!

Well done swimmers.....

On the 4th March, some Y6 children from Bosmere took part in a swimming gala at Stowmarket Leisure Centre.  It was a competition between 11 schools.  Even though we tried our hardest, we came in 4th place.  We are very proud of the children that took part and our achievement.  However, we would have come in 2nd place if we had not got disqualified from the boy's relay race.  The children had a great time and were delighted with their placement.
