PFA Summer Festival

Thank you to all parents/carers who took the time to respond to the PFA questionnaire towards the end of 2018 regarding this year's summer fair. We had 63 respondents to the questionnaire and of those, 74% of you would be interested in attending an event with a live band/bar/stalls/entertainment etc.. (and 20% a maybe).  During the last PFA meeting (which everyone was invited to attend), we reviewed your feedback and comments in detail and based on the majority, made a decision to change the event slightly this year.

So what's new?
The event will be known as a summer festival, (and take place on 22 June from 3-5pm). The first hour will be dedicated to the traditional summer fair stalls, games etc and the second hour we will endeavour to invite a local band(s) to play (there will still be things to keep the children entertained during this time) and a BBQ and bar (selling soft drinks, beer and Pimms) will be available throughout the duration of the festival. There will be a £1 entry fee per adult (children go free), but all paying adults will be entered into a draw to win a bottle of prosecco!

We appreciate that this may not appeal to everyone, but based on the feedback received we have decided to make this change so we do hope you will get behind us and support the event in the Summer so we can continue to raise vital funds to give our children the best possible opportunities at Bosmere.

If you have any specific ideas / things you would like to feed into the event please email the PFA at PFA@bosmereprimary.net

Many thanks
