PSHE/RSHE at Bosmere Community Primary School

At Bosmere we teach focused PSHE/RSHE lessons using the ‘Jigsaw’ Scheme. Jigsaw brings together Personal, Social, Health and Economic education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development (including mindfulness) through a series of ‘puzzle pieces’ (lessons).

Designed as a whole school approach, Jigsaw provides a comprehensive and progressive scheme of learning for Foundation Stage to Year 6. Every year group covers the same ‘piece’ of the Jigsaw at the same time, introduced in an online Zoom assembly at the beginning of each half term. These are:

•Celebrating Difference (Autumn 2)

•Dreams and Goals (Spring 1)

•Healthy Me (Spring 2)

•Relationships (Summer 1)

•Changing Me (Summer 2)
